Art Foundations
For children 6–9 years with a curiosity for making art. The program provides a nurturing and structured environment to explore and express ideas while experimenting with art techniques.
TERM 1 2025: Art Foundations 6-9 Years (Year 1 to Year 3)
TUESDAYS 4.15-5.30pm Studio program: ‘Urban Art’ Term dates: Tuesday 4th February - Tuesday 25th March 2025 We are exploring street artists and looking at the popularity of this art form in the urban scene from Melbourne to New York, London and Paris. This program focuses on drawing, painting and collage techniques while allowing for self-expression and choices in art making. Explicit teaching of art techniques; together with art material exploration will engage students’ creative expression.
Venue: By Hand Studio: 8a Royal Avenue, Glen Huntly, VIC

Art Creations
For children 10–15 years with big imaginations and a love of art. The program promotes curiosity through explicit teaching of art techniques that engage, enrich and empower students.

Adult Art Classes
Explore the energising experience of creative adult art classes held in the By Hand Studio at 8a Royal Avenue, Glen Huntly. In a relaxed studio setting, learn to create while connecting with friends and like-minded people. These art classes are for artists of all levels. An experienced art teacher providing instruction and direction will guide you. Here is an opportunity to meet, create, connect and have fun.
Friday Night Art Classes for Adults:
Friday Night Art Classes are a mindful and energising way to end the week with friends and like-minded spirits. Inspired by an art form known as Neurographic Art this mindful arts practice is immersive and in the moment. These workshops are suitable for adult students of all levels with each participant guided to create unique and personal artwork. The Friday Night workshops run for 2.5 hours and provide an opportunity to meet, create, connect and have fun; while exploring an authentic art experience.
Maximum of 10 people per class. Private art parties are welcome by arrangement.
Class Dates: 2025 Fridays - Time: 7.00 - 9.30 pm
